In-Home entertainment is getting better and better and is becoming more affordable! The Samsung 7250 curved 4k TV is redefining how you watch television. About five years ago everything was broadcasting in HD. You even had to buy a new antenna if you didn’t have cable and wanted to receive the free broadcasts that were available. Times are changing once again and in a few years everything will be broadcast in 4k. If you haven’t watched something in 4k on a 4k TV, I highly suggest you take a minute to do so next time you are in a Best Buy or Costco.
To be blunt, I own this TV, My girlfriend doesn’t know anything about tech stuff and couldn’t believe I was buying a new TV when my old TV worked just fine. Then when she watched her first movie in 4k, her direct quote was “it looks better than real life! I feel like they are in the room!” When I plugged this TV in, the first thing I saw was an animal adoption commercial with a cat and a white background. It looked so real my dog barked at the TV and charged at it!
Why the Curve Enhances the Picture?
The reason the curve has been so successful in the last year is because the curved screens track the natural shape of your eye which allows images to look sharper on the edges. The TV appears to field more of your point of view than flat TV’s, giving you a better view experience. Next time you go to a newer movie theater, look at the screen and take notice that they curve their screens now too.
Slimmer and lighter
One of the issues with plasma TV is they are heavy and bulky. The new Samsung-UN55HU7250 is under 50 pounds and is about an inch thick. It’s slim and light, so it takes up less space in your living room or bedroom. The TV doesn’t have a three-inch frame outside of the screen and is nothing but screen.

Customer Reviews and Scores
If you look at the reviews, it’s no surprise that this TV ranks well with everyone. This says a lot because nowadays people only write reviews if they have something bad to say and can’t do it in person. As an owner of this TV, I can vouch for all the positive reviews and am kind of shocked that it is only a 4.4 out of 5. Some people will never be happy, and you get what you pay for. This TV is more than fairly priced for what you are getting.
The most negative comments this product is getting is people saying the curve is a gimmick. A lot of people are saying it built up their expectations, and it wasn’t as awesome as they thought it was going to be. I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion. I get people over hyping the curve, but it’s the real deal in my opinion. I have my TV in the corner of my house and use a swing rack. There isn’t a bad seat in my house because the edges of the TV touch the wall. But it’s possible that it doesn’t look as good if it’s flat on the wall and you are sitting on the side of the TV. But, to be honest, that view sucks with a flat TV as well, and I don’t know why people are complaining about sitting on the side of the TV.
As I stated before, 4k is going to be the way everything is viewed. Once you view something in 4k you won’t want to go back. Have you ever watched something which isn’t broadcasted in HD and thought to yourself, “it’s crazy we used to think this looked good before HD came out.” In a few years we are going to be saying this about HD. I think Samsung is the best TV on the market and the curve isn’t a gimmik. Just don’t hang it on a wall and watch it from the side.
But if you are like me, you have the center seat, and it will blow you away!
